Virgin Money London Marathon 2019
If you are not lucky enough to have got a ballot place for the Virgin Money London Marathon on April 28, why not run for HEART UK?
“Running the marathon was by far the most awesome and challenging experience of my life. Crossing that finishing line made everything leading up to it, all the training, the 26 miles in that heat, everything was worth it and I cannot thank Heart UK enough for giving me a place on their team. I’ll never forget it.” Jenni Trimlett
"After two friends passing away from heart attacks last year, there was only ever one charity choice for me to run for, and what a great choice i made. From start to finish there was support and help. I'm very proud to have raised £5,500 for such a great charity and great people." David Prendergast
“It was a tough day, but a good one I'll never forget. Having ran for several charities over the years, I will say HEART UK were excellent and do a great job for runners. For me, the best I've experienced” Chris Hobson
"Thank you HEART UK for giving me the opportunity to run the VLM for your great charity! It was the most challenging but most rewarding thing I've ever done in my life!." Carlo Nazareno
"It has been a privilege to take part in this incredible race and especially on behalf of HEART UK, Thank you for making me feel part of the family and for the work that you do." Theo Dorges

• Campaign and lobby the government to help make sure people get the best levels of care
• Educate and inform about the condition Familial hypercholesterolaemia (often shortened to FH) an inherited condition which leads to exceptionally high cholesterol levels
• Provide expert information and advice to help people stay healthy and be active
